My training plan for UTMB included Bighorn 100 as a prep race. Krissy Moehl helped me plan some training goals, and the two of us referred to the time between these two races as \'the black hole,\' because we\'d need to see how recovery went before determining how to spend that last phase of time. Krissy\'s redefinition of that term gave me goosebumps, and became my mantra through these last incredible weeks.
